Merdeka! Cats Day Out 31st Aug 2015, by AnimalCare
The inside cats get to come out daily (everyone, except Pole and Cleo, both of whom are not interested and are more than happy staying inside).
Normally, they take turns coming out so that the monitoring can be more controlled.
But today, being Merdeka Day, all five got to come out at once…

Recently on 18 August 2015, the SPCA was alerted to a case involving a domestic worker reportedly kicking a small dog repeatedly, at the rooftop garden of a residential unit in Bukit Panjang.
Video footage provided by our informant revealed that the dog was kicked several times, presumably by a foreign domestic worker, as she tugged at it using its leash. It is also the end of August and time to thank this month’s donors as well as past and present donors who have made it possible for us to continue giving out our financial aid to those who apply, especially in such trying economic times.

The latest ACRES Open House was held last Sunday, 23rd August. We reached out to 98 new supporters, and managed to raise close to $1000 for the animals during the event!
