Siew Mai’s Cuisine-Therapy For His Skin Problems

Do you remember Siew Mai (or Mai-Mai)? We shared his story last year when his owner, JC, was at her wits’ end trying to find a cure for Mai-Mai’s skin problem.
I visited JC and Mai-Mai today and was so happy to see a very happy and jolly Mai-Mai, without the skin problems!

Today students and teachers from Quest International University Perak (QUIP) came to the shelter and helped clear wild grass and garbage.
Another 3 students form Kelantan University Sains Malaysia Kubang Kerian came to the shelter and became volunteers for a week.
They are Goh Yi Fan,Tan Well soon and Philip.

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: BAMBINO the rescued cat
Bambino, a ear-tipped, ginger/white male 7-year-old cat, fell from a height at a Henderson Road block in March this year and severely injured his jaw. The SPCA picked him up and provided him with veterinary care and treatment at our clinic. Following a few months of recovery and convalescence at our shelter, he was ready for adoption from mid-July 2015, and is still waiting for his forever family.
