ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: SAKURA, rescued from a cage (with other cats) at Toa Payoh
Sakura, a 2-year-old female, seal point Cross-Siamese mother cat, was rescued by SPCA from being trapped in a small cage (also containing her three kittens and another two, adult cats, all in the same cage) outside her ex-owner’s ground floor HDB unit at Toa Payoh, in late June 2015. This strong will boy is currently being treated by Dr. Lim from Pet Wellness. A young and passionate vet she is, we trust that Dr. Lim is doing the best she could to safe this poor fellow. Dr. Lim has estimated that he will need to be boarded at the clinic for at least 2 months before he could be well enough to discharge and ready for foster care. Thereafter, he may need another 4-5 months of recuperating period, depending on his recovery progress.

Japanese rail operators Wakayama Electric Railway Co. suffered a crushing loss recently, with the passing of one of its most famous stationmasters -- Tama the cat -- who died in June.

Little Ginger needs a Superhero to save him now! He currently lives with his foster family but they will be leaving the country in 2 weeks. They have given him lots of care and love but are unable to continue doing so. Ginger is friendly, cuddly, curious, and SUPER COOL. He especially enjoys taking naps with his human buddy.

Before they receive their full vaccinations, our dogs have to be kept in cages to reduce the risk of disease spreading. They are then neutered after their vaccinations have been complete, after which they will spend another 10 days in their cages to fully recover.
Today, these puppies have all recovered from their surgeries and were introduced to each other for the first time. Look at how well they get along! And how happy they all are to be able to run around again! Truly heartwarming ❤️
