URGENT UPDATE ON RABIES ISSUE
Dear all,
First of all, thank you to everyone who has played their part in helping to tackle the rabies issue. According to the Department of Veterinary Services ("DVS"), the rabies cases are all under control with the last known case of rabies in Malaysia on the 21st of September 2015.

SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – BIRD SMUGGLER CHARGED FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY
Mr. Leong was jailed for illegally smuggling live animals into Singapore and for animal cruelty.
He was caught following a routine check by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) in April 2014. A total of 9 birds were uncovered in his luggage. The birds were individually stuffed into PVC tubes wrapped with aluminium foil.
