SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be holding our Pet Adoption Day at Autocity (in front of Shop-In D'Park) TODAY 5 Dec 2015 from 8pm to 11pm.
Besides helping our fur-kids find good homes, we are also collecting donation items such as rice, eggs, fresh milk or kibbles.

This is Dixie! 3-month-old Dylan, Doreen and Dixie were recently rescued and sent to SPCA. They are slightly timid, but very playful with each other. They will need some time to learn to trust people, but this can be achieved easily with a patient and understanding owner!

With the ongoing SG50 celebrations and tributes, ACRES was delighted to be chosen as one of the Singapore Scout Association’s partners for their SG50 International Jamboree 2015 event, held on the 19th and 20th of November. NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: 4 DECEMBER 2015
Last month (November), our wildlife rescue team received a call about an eagle in distress. The white-bellied sea eagle had crash landed into a canal area, and he was being pounded by a heavy flow of gushing water. Luckily, a group of teenage boys came to his aid and helped to pull him to safety. They managed to keep the eagle warm and calm by placing a shirt over him. A concerned passer-by called us for help.

UPDATES ON THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER AT YIO CHU KANG AREA
Our inspector and AVA conducted a random visit this morning and observed that the Golden Retriever had free range of the compounds. The owners have taken on our advice of allowing the dog freedom to move around in its environment.
We thank concerned members of the public who have spoken up for the animal and cannot further stress that SPCA does not have the authority to seize pets from their owners.
