NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: 28 AUGUST 2015
1. Baby animals always look adorable! Grill (top right) is a tiny young cobra who was found resting in someone’s home. We thank the residents for calling us to move the snake away from there safely.
2. Slouch (bottom right) is a Sunda pangolin who was found resting on the metal beam of a sheltered car park. Slouch is now safe and back home in the wild!

SPCA 25 Week Challenge 7

Our Challenge this week was for Selina to teach her black cat, Midnight (fostered and adopted from the SPCA) to pick a rubber band out of a bucket of water.

Met Yangiee — the doe-eyed cat. Don't you think he has such big round eyes like Bambi?! It'll be hard saying NO to this kitty if he begs for cuddles or food.
His exotic red marble markings are also incredible. He could almost disguise himself as a deer. Maybe that can be a Halloween costume idea. Or a reindeer during Christmas. Do send us photos if you dress this cuddly one up.

A day in the life of an AWO: Cats are rotated into and out of the purr-therapy room (also knows as edu room A). This means every single cat has the chance to socialise, play, stretch their legs and run around.
Meanwhile all their cages are cleaned and ready with food and water for when they go back.

The Selangor Menteri Besar's (MB) recent announcement indicates that the proposed East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE) will proceed (we can provide this link to the newspaper article here or below after the post). 2-month old stray female kitten found in front of rescuers house, 3 nights ago. Kitten is on our waiting list as we are full, we have advised rescuer to give kitty 1st vaccination in the meantime.

Pup needs a home URGENTLY, please SHARE!
Stray 2-month old female pup, found in care undercarriage. The rescuer took the pup to her place of work but has been given a warning by the council. She lives in a condo, and most residents also not comfortable with dogs around.
