SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – DO YOUR PART TO SAVE OUR TIGERS
November last year, we received a tip off from a member of public with regard to sale of tiger part at one of the local pawnshop.
Officers from the Animal Crime Investigation Unit (ACIU) went down to investigate and found a pair of tiger teeth being sold as a jewelry item. The item which was put together by gold was priced at $428.
With the help of AVA, the item was seized and the case is under investigation.

Sabah Shark Protection Association (SSPA) participated in University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF)'s Green Carnival with the theme: Save Sharks on the 16th of Jan in Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu.
SSPA's booth provided information on sharks in Sabah, gave out SOS brochures, and collected pledges to stop consuming shark fins.

Animal Sports Day is a rare occasion, our aim of this event is to encourage owners to love and treat their pets well, and we also hope that more animal lovers and friends and help promote our TNRM project.
About 30 pets and owners registered, and more than a hundred pets came and enjoyed.
The atmosphere is lively and happy.
We thank everyone who were present, the volunteers who helped out, and all the sponsors.
Hope that there will be more events for pets and owners.
