MEET JOEY, CHINESE SOFTSHELL TURTLE
Here’s a close up photo of Joey, one of the resident Chinese softshell turtles at the AWRC, pictured relaxing in the midday sun and enjoying the sunshine. Joey is very curious and will investigate any new object within his environment. He is also quite territorial. Joey usually doesn’t like to be disturbed when he’s basking in the sun, but in this instance he somehow tolerated us and posed for us when we took this photo!

Puppies Vs. Ice Cubes 9th Feb 2016, by PetFinder.my
Those ice cubes seem very suspicious... How can they be so cold when the weather is so blasted hot?!?
If you feel like being entertained but it's too hot to get off the sofa, just give your puppy or dog an ice cube or two, then sit back and watch the fun.
If you have the ice cubes but no dog, what are you waiting for? There are hundreds of great pooches available for adoption on http://PetFinder.my who would love to come to your home and play with your ice cubes. :)

After Lunch 9th Feb 2016, by AnimalCare
Today, all 13 cats had ikan kembung kukus for lunch.
As I was steaming the fish, all 6 PatioCats were already in the kitchen surrounding the stove. Cleo jumped onto the window sill from Bunny’s Place to watch too. This is how they rated today’s lunch…
The rest are all having a siesta in the garden!

Today 5 Febwe Received A Report About Animal Abuse.. 9th Feb 2016, by SPCA Ipoh
Today (5 feb)we received a report about animal abuse from Cameron. A sick and unhealthy Dalmatian with its newborn pups were tied to a dirty workplace, one of the pups had died.
We went to investigate, if the owner really did abuse the dogs, then they will be punished by law.
However, after surveying, we found out that the mother Dalmatian was abandoned in the workplace, and was fed by a few residents. They had no experience of keeping pets, so the Dalmatian wasn't healthy.
