Report:
Stray dog stranded in the middle of LDP (milestone 11.1km, Northbound). It's a cream-colored dog, sitting with his head up, licking his paws. No visible wound, except for slight skin condition. Could anyone please check if he is still there stranded or made it safely across? Last seen Thursday noon.

SPCA Selangor - Port Dickson Rescue

SPCA Selangor received a report about a suspected breeding farm in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The owners couldn't care for the dogs anymore, so SPCA and Dr H went to remove the 11 dogs on 21 Jan 2016.
The dogs are being cared for by 2 fosterers, and SPCA will have them assessed, treated, neutered and rehomed in the coming months.

Merry Pet Christmas Party / 宠物圣诞派对

A total of 30 pets and owners joined in the fun during our Charity Pet Christmas Gathering. Everyone were having a hearty meal and at the same time everyone are donating more food for the animals in our shelter.
We raised a fund of RM500, including the restaurant boss' donation.
Thank you everyone who participated.

TMN Saikat Dogs Poisoning Incident / 翡翠园毒狗事件

We received complains from the residents, some stray dogs were poisoned to death in their residential area, we went to further investigate and informed the rela at the area to enforce the security.
Anyone who saw someone or something suspicious, please immediately take photo for evidence and inform us or the rela.
Once again to then animal abusers. even if you don't like animals, please at least don't hurt them.

The Animal Welfare Act 2015 was gazetted on 29 December 2015, and is very close to being enforcable by law!
For the first time, Pet Owners will bear the responsibility of providing a suitable environment and diet and adequate housing and, willingly or unwillingly, inflicts unnecessary pain and suffering on their pet will be fined between RM15,000 – RM75,000 and/or to imprisonment of not more than 2 years.
