Smiley The Blind Therapy Dog
19th Mar 2016, by PetFinder.my

Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog Smiley was born without eyes in a puppy mill, and was intended to be given away but nobody wanted him. Smiley now visits hospitals and classrooms to help children with special needs to overcome adversities, with a big contagious smile on her sweet face. :) Just like humans, all pets deserve a second c...

SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – A REPORT ON AN EMACIATED DOG Early February this year, the ACRES Animal Crime Investigation Unit (ACIU) received feedback on an emaciated dog being brought for walks around the neighbourhood. The dog was found to be of skin and bones where the rib and hip bones were obvious at one glance and was barely managing the walk. ACIU investigated and found the dog to match the allegations by the informant. A golf sized lump was found at the side of the rib. At the point of v...

Hello there…may I come in, please? This is Dodo, Connie’s Shih Tzu. They came a-visiting today. Tabs wasn’t sure if she’s allowed to admit a dog… Indy was asleep. So was Bunny. But Ginger appears to be interested in the visitor. It took a long time for Dodo to move from under the table, to under my chair, and then, to here…facing Ginger. MAKE YOUR MARK WITH ACRES! One of the issues that ACRES would like to shed more light on is cruelty in the tourism industry. Sadly, wild animals are still being exploited in the name of “entertainment”. Tourists unwittingly continue to support circus-style animal shows and wild animal photography as they do not know the suffering involved. So what can you do to make a difference for these animals? We are calling out for youths who are passionate to give animals a voice by speaking on be...
