Toothbrushes From Korea For Fundraising! 18th Mar 2016, by AnimalCare
We would like to thank Mary Yap very much for donating these 6 boxes of quality toothbrushes from Korea for our fundraising. That’s 48 toothbrushes at RM6 each (by donation).
We sold out on the previous 6 boxes (also donated by Mary) very quickly because of repeat buying. The toothbrush is really of very good quality. The nano-gold bristles prevent bacteria build-up in the toothbrush.
Everyone needs a toothbrush and ideally, it should be changed every 2-3 months. So, please do consider su...

Is Indy….stuck? 18th Mar 2016, by AnimalCare
Everyone loves the new shelf – this shelf is the best and most successful project we have ever undertaken!
I’ve seen everyone taking turns to enjoy this shelf except Cleo and Bunny. Of course, Bunny is way too lazy to climb so far up. Cleo is probably being cautious, as usual. Even Pole has been up on the shelf.
Tabs and Cow (yes, what an unlikely combo!) take turns to nap on this shelf while Indy does too, but also uses it as a springboard to get up to his ledge for his sentry duty...

Normal And Natural 17th Mar 2016, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)
EX-BATTERY HENS EXPERIENCE THEIR FIRST MOMENTS OF FREEDOM
Sadly, chickens are among the animals most abused at the hands of humans. In many parts of the world, including Asia, hens who are farmed to supply eggs for human consumption are commonly confined in tiny “battery cages” that cause immense suffering. The cages are so cramped that hens are not able to perform important natural behaviours. Often, then hens can’t even stretch their wings. Each hen may live in a space equivalent to an...

Vincent’s Progress 17th Mar 2016, by AnimalCare
As the days passed, Vincent appears to be getting back to his normal self.
He’s more confident again, and is not afraid of Ginger or Mr Zurik anymore.
He also doesn’t run away to the neighbour’s house after eating. In fact, he sticks around a lot.
I hope this means he is getting much better every day.
I bought the Oxyfresh Pet Gel online (shared the shipping with 3 of my friends – one tube each!). So far, I’ve only dared try it on Indy (Indy seemed to like the t...

Lucky Pooch Rescued From Hot Tar
This poor dog fell into a pool of hot tar that smothered his body and became rock-solid.
He was stuck to the ground, unable to move. A passerby saw him struggling and called Animal Aid Unlimited, India. After rubbing vegetable oil onto him for 2 days, he was finally free from tar.
This adorable puppy wouldn't have made it if not for the dedication of these compassionate people!
Rescuers all around the world are helping needy, struggling animals. We can all ...

Stay Hydrated. Always Make Sure There Are Clean Wa.. 17th Mar 2016, by SCRATCH
Stay hydrated. Always make sure there are clean water for your pets everyday.
(it's okay to put some ice cubes in their drinking water. They'll love it!)
Stay indoor most of the time.
Wear very minimal clothes or fur
(maybe it's a good time for a lion cut you've been delaying for your cat)
Have a hand fan (at least) with you all the time.
