DEEN GETS (A LITTLE BIT) BULLIED BY THE BOYS IN THE HOOD!
Deen, an Indian star tortoise at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (identified in the photo by his ‘new boy on the block’ clean carapace) recently finished his quarantine period and joined the other star tortoises outdoors. Many thanks to our lovely volunteers from ISKL and Arief for helping to decorate our centre today!
We also want to thank the awesome people who donated the trees, tree ornaments and other decor! :) (special thanks to Wendy Tan!)
If anyone has more usable decor, please do drop off at our centre. We don't need anymore trees, but if you have tinsel, wreaths, etc those would really make the environment cheerful and festive for visitors :)

What Is Declawing A Cat?
Declawing is not merely the trimming of the claws. It is the surgical removal of the claws, which are closely adhered to the bone. In order to remove the claw and prevent its regrowth (which sometimes results from incomplete removal), the entire first joint of each of the cat's "toes" is amputated.
This procedure is often likened to amputation of all a human's fingers to the first knuckle. You can imagine the subsequent pain.
