REFRAIN FROM RELEASING ANIMALS ON VESAK DAY
Do you know that in Singapore, it is against the law to release any animal into our public parks, reservoirs, nature reserves and other places? Many people do not realise that these animals are unlikely to survive in natural habitats and may even threaten to affect the ecological balance of the environment that they are released into.

SOMEONE LOOKED FOR ENERGY IN THE WRONG PLACE!
From time to time, the ACRES wildlife rescue team encounters strange and at times…silly cases. Taurine, the equatorial spitting cobra got himself in a fix – when taking a sniff inside a Redbull drink can. Reasons why he did that? – we would never know. Unfortunately, the only thing he got was his head stuck in the can, and he definitely needed some help.
