Updates On 27th Feb 2016 27th Feb 2016, by SPCA Sarawak
THINK ABOUT THE ANIMALS! We are already receiving messages about dogs stuck in deep drains, tied up to trees with owners absent or irresponsible, etc. PLEASE the SSPCA volunteers are not emergency responders, we do not have emergency vehicles able to drive through flood waters. If you see an animal in need please THINK and ACT and DO SOMETHING to save it. Go out and look around your neighborhood, make sure all creatures are safe.

Cocoa is a Eurasian tree sparrow, and a recent victim of a glue trap intended to catch lizards. Fortunately, Cocoa didn’t lose any wing feathers or sustain any injuries during her ordeal. But she was exhausted from shock and from probably struggling to free herself.

The other gentleman in the photo is Mr Ganga, the national president of the Befrienders. Mr Ganga believes in propagating kindness to animals and he has been using ...
