The Great 'Vancatmeow' Adventure Down Under
Having spent 10 years in the corporate world, one day Richard East just had it. The man quit his job, sold his house and most of his possessions. He bought a VW van and hit the road with his rescue cat, Willow, in Australia.
“I wasn’t happy at work,” Richard told Mashable Australia. “I didn’t want to go overseas for six months, and then return to a similar job, with the same situation. That’s why the van came in, so I could make a change ...

RARE GLIMPSE OF A BANDED FILE SNAKE 31st May 2016, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)
Singapore is home to more than 50 species of snakes. Most of them live inland in our nature reserves, and some have adapted to living in urbanised areas due to the presence of prey animals such as rats and frogs.

Cow Finally Drinks Water (FLUTD) 31st May 2016, by AnimalCare
I’m so totally freaked out that I spent the whole day watching Cow because I’m so worried about his FLUTD. Even though the vet told me in many cases where there is no blockage, the disease might resolve itself through a change in diet (to Royal Canin’s S/O), I’m still worried. I think it hurts me more looking at him straining to urinate and that only a few drops would come out. But Cow seems to be totally okay about it. He’s taking naps in between. Seems as cool as...

Vincent’s News 31st May 2016, by AnimalCare
Ever since Vincent’s second gum jab, things have not exactly gone as planned. I’m not sure whether that’s good or bad, though.
I ordered the Oxyfresh Pet Deodoriser, meant to be dropped into their drinking water… The vet had told me that in some of his gingivitis patients, it helps.
I only put a drop into the water bowl. Only a drop and we humans cannot even smell a thing even if you put your nose to the bottle.
Guess what Vincent did?
He boycotted the water bowl...

Cow Has FLUTD 31st May 2016, by AnimalCare
I freaked out this morning.
There were droplets of blood-stained urine in the places where Cow always sprays. Believe it or not, this is one time that I am “glad” Cow sprays, or else I wouldn’t have noticed that he has blood-stained urine.
Then, Cow showed me that he was straining to urinate. I observed closely and could only see droplets of urine coming out.
He was quite nonchalant about it. But this is Cow and his pain threshold is very high. Super “tahan lasak”...
