We responded to TODAY's article "A bit wild: Asian animal cafes go from mere cats to meerkats" regarding the opening of animal cafes round Asia (http://www.todayonline.com/lifestyle/travel/bit-w ild-asian-animal-cafes-go-mere-cats-meerkats).
We urge anyone planning on visiting such cafes to consider the costs to the animals and refrain from supporting this blatant form of animal exploitation which takes place at the animals’ expense, and help keep wild animals wild....

Collar Visualizes Dog's Emotions
A collar which changes colour depending on your dog's mood has been developed by a biologist in Japan.
The Inupathy collar monitors the animal's heart rhythms and displays whether they are calm, excited, happy or concentrating. It can also be used by owners to hear beyond the barks and learn how to manage stressful environments.

MEETING THE FIRST GROUP OF STUDENTS FROM PJC KAIROS VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME!
Yi Ze, Xiao Song and Chen Zhen are three energetic students from Pioneer Junior College. They were chosen to participate in the annual KAIROS volunteer programme.

It’s been many, many weeks since Tiger donned his (many) tshirts. The reason for making him wear a tshirt has been to prevent him from directly biting his flank and other parts of his body as this biting action leads to him throwing a fit.
