PYTHON WRAPPED IN STRING: WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Our rescue officers were called to rescue this python, who had string wrapped around his or her midsection making it difficult to digest the just consumed food! As you can see in this picture, there is a big bulge where the food was stuck. Our rescue officers removed the string, and thankfully the python was in good condition, so was released safely back to the wild.

Another Poslaju “mishap”

Last week, Poslaju failed to deliver a mail, so they left a note at our address.
This afternoon, I went to the Poslaju collection depot with the note to collect the mail. Unfortunately, they could not give me the mail because I only produced my IC (with my name) while the mail was addressed to AnimalCare.
This had never happened previously, but I don’t blame them since there was no way to verify that I was associated with AnimalCare.

JOB EXPERINCE PROGRAMME FOR THE STUDENTS FROM MILLENNIA INSTITUTE!
On 25th to 28th October 2016, ACRES was glad to have Jowella, Victoria, Meg and Rashmi from the Millennia Institute. They participated in the Job Experience Programme with our animal care and wildlife rescue department.
