MEET OUR NATIVE WILDLIFE: 5 THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT THE WHITE-BREASTED WATERHEN
These familiar Singapore natives can be found in coastal areas, swampy vegetation, marshes, canals, mangroves, grasslands, parks and gardens.
1) Females are generally smaller than males. Females weigh between 160- 130g; males weigh 200- 330g. The beaks of females are less bright than those of the males.

July was a real cultural exchange month for us at ACRES, as we had several volunteers from different countries joining us!
Moa Eliasson from Sweden signed up through Indigo Travel to volunteer with us. Lily Lyu from China joined us through Xu Bo Art & Culture Exchange. And Lee SeongJu from Korea, as well as Tran Van Hai & Nguyen Tran Phuong Thao from Vietnam, signed up through Global Voluntary Camp.

Recently at ACRES, we have received feedback from concerned individuals about the sales of rabbit fur keychains in Singapore.
There is usually much cruelty involved in the production of these rabbit fur keychains.
