CELEBRATE THE SEASON OF GIVING WITH TECHNOLOGY
Information technology is a wonderful thing, even for the animals.
Two of the items on our Christmas Wish List are the Datamars Compact Max Microchip Reader and Datamars Microchip.
The reader and microchip set ensures our pawry friends are well documented in case of life’s many emergencies, and that lost fur babies can be traced and then found, and returned to their loving forever homes every time.

1,300+ ANIMALS TO LOSE ELECTRICITY DURING WINTER COLD
We have received deeply worrying news from the animal shelter in Donetsk, Ukraine which houses more than 1,300 dogs and cats - many left behind by refugees during violent bombings last year. The dedicated staff try to provide for the animals with the most meager of resources, but now, they are facing a complete blackout in the bitter cold of winter.

AN EXCERPT FROM A STUDENT VOLUNTEER’S REFLECTION
“Before the (ACRES) talk, I have never really thought of how animals were treated in the world. I was aware of animal cruelty but I would have never known the extent (of animal abuse) for people’s own selfish gain.”
