A Meatfree Lunch (for Dummies!)

It’s been a very long time since we last published about “Eating food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”
Here’s my lunch today:
It consists of lightly steamed broccoli, carrot and mushrooms, raw tomatoes, lettuce, capsicum, two boiled eggs (free range, unfertilised) and roasted sesame dressing.
Preparation time: 5 mins.

Over the last few days, I created a set of His & Hers blankets.
These are made out of the 9-patches my mum sewed a few months ago. Each 9-patch was cut into 4 pieces, re-oriented to make a new design.

I had actually sewn this blanket with scraps earlier on. But I thought it looked too “scrappy” with no specific theme…

Donation Collections Have Officially Ended And The..

Donation collections have officially ended and the Singa(PAW) Charity Ride team has managed to raise a whopping RM24,445 for PAWS!
We would like to congratulate the cyclists for successfully completing the arduous challenge of riding from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore and back between the 10th and 13th of December 2016.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to this wonderful group of cyclists, the team at PeopleGiving for organising the campaign, and the generous donors for contributing towards this cause!

FIRST ADOPTION FOR 2017!
We are proud to announce that Kaiser has been adopted this morning.
Eight year old Kaiser is a Singapura Special, that was found in the Farrer Park vicinity in 2014, wearing a black collar and leash. Despite attempts to reunite him with his owners, no one came forward to claim him.
Easy-going Kaiser has since been with us and we thank Tracy and her family for making a few trips down to SPCA to interact with him, prior to adopting this handsome boy.
