This morning, Rosie woke me up at 4am.
Yes, 4am.
She mewed loudly and by now, I have sort of learned to interpret her various mews along with her facial expressions. She wanted something from downstairs, so I had to get up, go down to close all the windows, then let her go down.
What she wanted was to drink water from the kitchen. That’s all. There’s a “Bird Family Water Bowl” in the kitchen. Rosie just wanted t...

HARMFUL EFFECTS OF CONFINING DOGS
Confining a dog is detrimental to its mental and physical health. Dogs are companionable creatures, requiring social interaction with humans and other animals.
Please ensure that your dog gets regular exercise in the form of daily walks and games, and that all members of the family spend ample time with him/her.

DINNER FOR HUNGRY STREET ANIMALS IN BOSNIA
Esnaf Mehic is an animal rescuer in Bosnia. She's one of at least 80 independent rescuers who turned to us for help this month. She asks for so little. She simply needs help to purchase dog food and get the animals essential veterinary care. Esnaf cares for as many animals as she can on her own property and also goes into many other areas to feed strays. It's a profound mission of devotion and we are so grateful for the opportunity to help her and so m...

Rosie’s Room (Day 16) 5th Mar 2017, by AnimalCare
We’ve been keeping Rosie in our bedroom for quite a number of days now, with the windows all tightly locked.

So, we decide...
