These little cutie patooties were abandoned near Seven Wells waterfall when they were helpless babies barely a month old. Luckily they were all rescued and have spent the last couple months in foster care with Laurent Cuendet and Hana Nazri. They are super affectionate, loving, and already fully litter box trained. Rosie (Day 23 – A Fright)

Since yesterday, I’ve noticed abdominal bloating in Rosie.
Today, it seems even bigger and she looked miserable the whole day, just lying down, changing places now and then.
She has not appetite, but when force-fed, she will willing to eat. She doesn’t need liquid food because she is willing to chew now.

SSPCA - Donation Baskets
On 6th October 2016, we kick-off our community project: SSPCA's Donation Baskets.
These baskets, placed at retail outlets, are for kindhearted people like you to put your donations of rice, kibbles, detergent, shampoo, clorox, towel. You don't have to travel far to our Shelter anymore.
We will be collecting your donated items from these drop off centres once a week, or earlier, if the basket is full.

We realize that many cannot afford to pay to vaccinate/ neuter their rescued animals, so last year we started a fund to cover these expenses and relieve their financial burden a little. Remirth’s 32nd Anniversary

Today, the 15th day of the Chinese 2nd month, is the 32nd anniversary of Remirth, my childhood dog.
Remirth was an ever-ever loyal dog to my mum.
Remirth had stomach cancer and she passed on very peacefully hardly two months after Puffin left us. She was 12 years old. That was in 1985.

Rosie (Day 22)

In the middle of last night, Rosie woke me up to ask for food. I don’t know what time that was as I have been really, really tired these few days, waking up very early, but I offered her Tuscan kibble and she ate. Then, she asked for more, so she ate a second time.
This morning, Rosie asked for Tuscan again. It looks like I have to keep changing the food to keep her interested.
