12 dogs and 14 cats have been neutered in the last 2 weeks under the Stray Free Selangor program. The community animals were brought in by several rescuers, who will continue to monitor them after release or rehome them. We offer neutering subsidies -- a 50% subsidy (RM100) for dogs and 80% subsidy (RM20) for cats. THE RABIES CASE IN PERAK IS TREATED AS AN ISOLATED CASE. DVS IS IN CONTAINMENT MODE AND TAKING IMPORTANT MEASURES TO PREVENT AN OUTBREAK. THERE IS NO CASE NOR OUTBREAK IN SELANGOR SO PLEASE DO NOT PANIC. JUST BE VIGILANT AND GET UPDATES FROM DVS. OUR VET AND DVS ADVISE THAT RABIES VACCINATION ARE NOT REQUIRED. STAY ALERT BUT DO NOT PANIC. NO REASON TO FEAR OR CULL STRAY DOGS.
