We must apologise for not writing this earlier. I thought that since the news was all over SS14, most residents would have known until I mentioned it to a friend (who resides in SS14) yesterday and she didn’t know about it at all. And she’s a cat feeder too.

Thank you to the public for all the kind support all these while, our ISPCA 32nd Annual Charity Dinner was a success, we have obtained RM50,000 funds from the dinner and this will be used for shelter's daily operation/expenses.
Now, our board of committees will focus back on the issue regarding entrance to shelter (which was blocked).

Serian: Anti-Rabies vaccination is ongoing at the 5 affected villages. All dogs and cats within the infected areas within a radius of 10 kilometers are required to receive anti-rabies vaccine.
Kampung Kerait, Kampung Paon Rimu, Kampung Paon Rimu Bakung, Kampung Remun and Kampung Lebor in Serian.
At the same time, awareness campaigns will continue, to ensure that people have sufficient knowledge and awareness on the disease, its implications and the way the dog is infected with the epidemic.
