An annual shark survey was carried out by WWF-Malaysia and Sabah Parks to estimate the number of reef sharks sighted in Sipadan island last Friday. In this video, a white-tip reef shark is spotted gliding its way through the waters of Sipadan. Sharks are now one of WWF-Malaysia's conservation targets in the Marine Programme which aligns with WWF’s Sharks and Rays Initiative. Cat With Head Stuck In A Container. On 11 December.. 13th Dec 2017, by SPCA Singapore
CAT WITH HEAD STUCK IN A CONTAINER
On 11 December at about 10 pm, we received a call on our 24-hour hotline 6287 5355 ext 9, alerting us to a cat with its head stuck in a plastic container. The cat was in distress and ran away when we attempted to approach it.
As this rescue mission required more resources, we activated two rescue officers and brought along additional rescue equipment.

Someone abandoned five puppies at our gates. ISPCA committee hopes that no more dogs will be abandoned again like this. There are snakes and other predators all around the woods, its dangerous for the puppies. Shelter is currently full and does not accept anymore dogs. There are not enough food and resources, and could not even last two months. ISPCA committee hopes that the public can support ISPCA Food Bank and shelter renovation to help more animals in need.

In return, we would only request you to donate 10kg of cat food (Royal Canin or ProDiet) in exchange to adopt a cat!

A group of 10 students from NiIT's Business Faculty chose SSPCA as for their MPU2112 Pengurusan Ko-Kurikulum project.
The students displayed their skills in making food like sushi, bibimbap, sandwiches to sell to their fellow collegemates, lecturers and public within the college premises at Jalan Keretapi. Besides that, they also had a few sessions to walk our shelter's dogs.
With all their hardwork and efforts put in, they managed to raise RM4,300, and they used these funds to buy our shelter...
