Ten volunteers from UniKL MIMET (Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology) with our Marine Conservation Officer, Noor Azariyah Mohtar is working together on beach profiling and shoreline tracing study. This covers 23km of main turtle nesting beaches in Setiu, Kemaman and Dungun districts, and can monitor the impact of climate change towards the turtle nesting beaches. “I came here initially not for the tigers, but because I had the longing to work for a cause that was greater than myself - the conservation of our planet.
