We bid farewell this past weekend to Erica, one of our dedicated Animal Welfare Officers (AWA) for the dog kennels. Here she with Cosmo, one of our SPCA doggies.
Erica has been diligent and tireless in her AWA care duties during the past six months. Her passion for animals clearly shines through her hard work. We would like to give our thanks and wish her only the best for the future. All the doggos will definitely miss you much!

Neutering Aid For 4 Cats In Cheras (Wong Yee Heng, Chan Kwai Fuae, Yap Yew Moy’s)

We have sponsored RM240 for the neutering of these 4 cats.
Wong Yee Heng and Chan Kwai Fuae used to claim from us for many years until Stray Free Selangor (SFS) was launched last year and they were able to get into that programme in July 2017. Now, according to them, there is no more provision for them, so they are claiming from us again.
Meanwhile, Yap Yew Moy is a new applicant. She has been feeding street cats in her apartment area. Chan Kwai Fuae is assisting her in getting her street ...

My name is Angie Ha Sii Ming. I want to apply for neutering aid. There is one male stray cat named ‘Didi’ at a carpark in bukit jalil. He is friendly to people, so i brought him to neuter on 5th june. After neutering, i take care of him for one week and will release him back to his own place. The doctor did the ear-notched for him.
I hope i can get the aid so that lessen my burden. Thank you.

This naughty girl was discovered playing hide-and-seek beneath car bonnets... thus her name Bonnie!
She was eyeing longingly at the rescuer playing with the dog, perhaps hoping for love and a real family.
This gentle, intelligent and affectionate girl spots a beautiful coat of fur, chatty at times with sweet little meows.
Can you be little Bonnie's guardian angel?

It's easy to buy too many things during grocery shopping especially when you're walking around in a hungry daze.
Reduce the chances of of buying food items that you already have in stock or don't actually need by keeping your fridge and cupboards organized so it is easier to see. If in doubt, always make a shopping list in advance and stick to it!

Snail Mails During This Period

This is to inform all applicants that the mail delivery service nearing Hari Raya is incredibly slow. Mails posted last week have still not reached us and we have a backlog of applications.
We will process all applications once received and will give due consideration to the delay by Pos Malaysia.

'Harry' came in for his post dental check. The handsome fellow has made a terrific recovery after he required all his teeth extracted. His mom said he went home eve of his surgery and howed into his food. He'd been struggling with a sore mouth for many years and only medically managed.
