360 Journey To Kubaan Puak Project Site

Part of the six hour off-road journey from Miri to our Kubaan Puak Project sites captured using a 360 camera. The Kubaan-Puak Corridor Project is important because the area links between Gunung Mulu National Park and Pulong Tau National Park.
The Sarawak state government has acknowledged the presence of Penan communities in the area. The Magoh Biosphere Reserve has been set aside for the local communities, where there shall be no logging activities.

Cat Pillow Mania!

After a long, long break (since January or so) of not sewing, I’ve taken out my sewing machine from storage and started sewing again.
And the cats got new cat pillows too!
Cleo has a new one.
I refreshed his old pillow with fresh silvervine powder and leaves.
Cow is playing with it, and won’t let Bunny have it.
He even slept on it after playing with it.
Now it’s Bunny’s turn (after I shoo-ed Cow off).

Vincent’s Resistance

It’s getting harder to pill Vincent!
He really put up a struggle this morning and the pills got spat out numerous times, covered in thick saliva.
I discussed this with the vet and asked if injectables might be an option. Unfortunately, there are no injectables for the Metrodanizole antibiotics (in this case, it’s Stomorgyl for Vincent), it is only available through IV, which means Vincent would have to be hospitalised and on drips again. The other antibiotics he is on is Baytril and ...
