Joya was found sitting at a traffic light by an intersection in Puchong Bandar Puteri area. She is less than 1 year old, energetic, toilet-trained, listens to instructions and is generally a joyful dog (hence the name). She is surprisingly well-adjusted to my cats. Another successful Turtle Camp on 28th August 2018 with students of S.K. Seberang Tayur. This time we added another game, Sea Turtle Action game, so more students can engage in 'learning by playing' activities.
We thank Yayasan Bank Rakyat, Kemaman Sands Resort, Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust and Malaysian Nature Society - Terengganu for supporting our Turtle Awareness Programmes.

We are thrilled to have had the Primary 2 students of Teck Ghee Primary School begin their journey as little animal ambassadors for responsible pet ownership!
We were invited to share cases that SPCA received, educate them on what they can do to help, and the proper way to care for animals. S.K. Seberang Tayur Turtle Camp

On 28th August 2018, we hosted 40 students from S.K.Seberang Tayur, Kemaman in our Turtle Awareness Programme a.k.a. Turtle Camp in Kemaman Sands. We gave a lecture about turtles and played some games with the students. The students and teachers were appreciative and happy with our lectures and our Turtle Camp in general! 😊

Why can't I bath your dog after vaccination?
This is the common question people asked during the mass vaccination when they were told so, not to give shower on their dogs for next 5days.

Vincent Eats Again!

Vincent was excited during lunch time and came into the kitchen with everyone else. I offered him canned food, blended raw food, raw fillet meat, liquid food (one by one) but none of them appealed to him.
Poor guy…
Vincent has always been a very choosy eater, but now, perhaps it’s the ulcers or the flu (the loss of the sense of smell?) making it difficult for him to have an appetite.

Vincent To Continue With The Antibiotics

Today is the 14th day of Vincent’s anitbiotics (Clavomox). Unfortunately, he is still not getting better, so we took him to the vet’s.
There was also something a bit worrying this morning when Vincent refused to eat.
Vincent is already super fussy when it comes to food. He’s the type of cat who would rather starve than eat something which is not on his list of “preferred foods”.
We went from home-cooked to canned food, then to blended raw food (which he loved). Next...

Ginger vomited all his breakfast out today.
He had eaten his breakfast with everyone else.
Then, we opened a new bag of kibble.
Nobody can resist the sounds and smell of new kibble, so everyone came for a snack and Ginger got one too.
Then, it happened.
Ginger vomited and everything came out. He had eaten too much.
Of course, immediately after that, he came into the kitchen to ask for food again.
And this is why I can only eat “dim sum” (small amounts).
