Photos From WWF-Malaysia's Post 5th Nov 2018, by WWF Malaysia
We are deeply concerned by China’s announcement to allow the use of tiger bone and rhino horn from captive bred animals by hospitals and trade in antique tiger and rhino products. This is bad news for endangered tigers and rhinos in the wild, due to the risk of stimulating demand and illegal products from wild animals entering the markets as well.
WWF calls on China to maintain the trade ban and further expand it to cover trade in all tiger parts and products: http://bit.ly/2ySbfD4.

Bunny’s Portraits (eat And Be Merry!) 5th Nov 2018, by AnimalCare
Bunny is 12.5 years old now, and he is FIV+ too. He is from my very first rescue, with Cow and Pole. Bunny, we believe, must be the youngest as he had always seemed a little “lost” and pampered! They were total newborns when rescued because Pole only opened her eyes 10 days after they were rescued, followed by Cow and of course, Bunny was the last to open his eyes.
Of course he is totally pampered by his favourite human!
(For those who are observant, ther...

Vincent Bagheera’s “Rosie” Blanket And Updates 5th Nov 2018, by AnimalCare
Vincent has migrated onto the bed now!
This is now HIS room and HIS bed (and yes, Ginger is not very happy about it).
This blanket was a very thoughtful gift of love and friendship from one of our donors shortly after Rosie passed away. I was devastated and traumatised. This kind donor bought all the fabric (note the rose print) and commissioned us to sew this large blanket for her. She even gave me the design and specifically said she wanted a patch of rose in the centre. Of course I sewed it ...

'Rafiki' has had a fever for past few days that wasn't responding to medications. We had to hospitalize him and put him on intravenous fluids and commence aggressive supportive care to nurse him through his viral infection. He is the fur baby of one of our vet nurses and she's been worrying about him immensely. Thankfully he's finally responding to treatment. He is usually very timid with strangers and I feel privileged to have won his beautiful heart over. Please wish him a speedy recovery. ...
