Yesterday almost lost my black hen 'Foxy' to heat stress. Her sisters 'Cheeky' and 'Roxy' were also struggling. They had enough shade along with fresh ice in their waterballs and I'd even sprayed them with water just before. Please take care of your pets in the heat, make sure to check in on them and ensure they don't suffer heat stress. It is life threatening in pets and early intervention is key. I’ll continue from where we left off – We thought Vincent was vomiting water. Finally, I found out that all those pools of water was not vomit, but urine. Vincent’s urine is all clear because of the kidney failure, so it’s hard to tell whether it’s water vomit or urine. There is also absolutely no smell.
We saw him urinating on that very spot, so that’s how we knew.
