Selamat Menyambut #WorldWetlandsDay!
Ada tiga langkah yang kita boleh ambil untuk menjaga tanah lembap atau tanah bencah seperti di delta Rajang-Belawai-Paloh:
* Jangan menebang pokok bakau.
* Jangan buang sampah sembarangan. Sampah dibuang ke dalam tong sampah.
* Jadilah pelancong/pengunjung yang bertanggungjawab.
Pulihara, guna sebaik-baiknya dan peliharalah hutan bakau kita. Kita boleh mengatasi perubahan iklim. Tanah lembap ialah penyelesaian semulajadi. Hentikan perubahan penggunaan t...

【敏儿,永远都是我们心中的小天使】 2nd Feb 2019, by SPCA Ipoh
5 years ago, I saved Mun Yee from the cage.
Today, I brought Mun Yee to cross the rainbow bridge.
5 years ago, ISPCA saved 90 dogs from an enclosed breeding factory, including 81 poodles, and Mun Yee was one of them.
She was lucky to meet someone who truly loved her, who changed her from head to tail, who poured love and care all over her.
Mun Yee joined the ISPCA pet doctor, brought happiness to the young and elderly, and was ISPCA's furry little angel.
However, Mun Yee was diagnosed with tick...

Oscar was one of our rescued German Shepherd back in 2017, from an abandoned residential housing, he almost couldn't survive during the time of rescue. After being rescued and taken care of in our shelter, he was adopted by Isaac from Kuala Lumpur and since then, he has his own forever home.
However, last week Oscar was not feeling well and so his owner, Isaac brought him to the vet and it was found out that Oscar was diagnosed with 'Serum amylase' and it was in final stage. The owner was feeli...

More from Sylwia on our cats looking for forever homes:
"Amie is a beautiful long-tailed female cat, young and curious about her surroundings. She would like to be the only star - likes people's attention, playing together, chatting 😀. She will give you so much joy with her funny individual style. Suggest to keep her as the only cat, as she can be a bit jealous😍"
Amie is 9 months old.

Happy #WorldWetlandsDay! You might see "Ramsar" mentioned a lot today.
FYI the Convention on Wetlands, called the Ramsar Convention, is the intergovernmental treaty that provides the framework for the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources.
The Convention was adopted in the Iranian city of Ramsar in 1971 and came into force in 1975. Since then, almost 90% of UN member states, from all the world’s geographic regions, have acceded to become “Contracting Parties”. The con...

Happy World Wetlands Day! Here are 3 simple things that we can do to help keep our wetlands:
* Do not remove mangrove trees.
*Do not litter. Rubbish goes into rubbish bins.
* Be a responsible tourist/visitor.
Restore, use wisely and conserve our mangroves. We are not powerless against climate change. Wetlands are a natural solution. Stop draining wetlands.

Happy World Wetlands Day. Wetlands Are Considered .. 2nd Feb 2019, by Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia
Happy World Wetlands Day!
Wetlands are considered some of the most productive habitats on the planet. Other than being the world's natural water filters, shock absorbers which minimize impacts from flooding and drought, they are also home to more than 100,000 freshwater species!
Sadly, 64% of the world's wetlands have been degraded since 1900 due to pollution, climate change and other anthropogenic activities, and the degradation continues until today.

Ginger’s Wish Came True 2nd Feb 2019, by AnimalCare
A few days ago, Ginger was having some vomiting problem.
Every once in a while, Ginger has this problem. I think he may have some stomach issues.
So, since I have Vincent’s antacid, I decided to give Ginger a dose (and this is after 2 days of intermittent vomiting – I was hoping the issue would resolve by itself, but it did not).
Ginger was SO, SO, SO, SO incredibly happy! Yes, at being given “medicine”. He’s been so jealous of Vincent because (1) Vincen...

Vincent In The Sun 2nd Feb 2019, by AnimalCare
Here’s a photo of Vincent having some sun yesterday.
He is eating well, peeing and pooping well.
His current “nest” is still one of the corners in the upstairs family hall. After breakfast, he goes up and takes a very long nap before coming down for lunch. I think this long nap is his “restful sleep” for the day.
It’s good to see that when he sleeps, he is really resting and sleeping deeply. He doesn’t even get up when I go upstairs!
Daily subcut as u...
