I would like to claim for these 2 Stray cats that we caught in Taman Anggerik in Bentong. They appear in the Taman for a while and my friend told me they are very tame.

It’s #TaxaTuesday and the last Genus of freshwater turtles found in Malaysia is Siebenrockiella.
Siebenrockiella used to be monotypic, having only S. crassicollis (Black Marsh Turtle). Then, another species, S. leytensis (Philippine Forest Turtle) was added under this Genus.
S. crassicollis is native to Malaysia. Black Marsh turtle is listed as ‘Vulnerable’ under the IUCN Red List. Their population is declining due to direct exploitation and habitat loss.

Good Morning, Vincent (and Buddy!)

Breakfast was at about 6am this morning. We started with Cubgrub’s Duck, but Vincent wanted a mixture of foods today.
So, he ended up having a bit of Cubgrub Duck, Cubgrub Rabbit and Cindy’s Tender Chicken. I wasn’t sure if having three types of food was a good idea, especially for his sensitive stomach, but that was what Vincent wanted.

Ini Mak. Dia dah neutered and spayed. Dia sangat baik dan manja. Saya sebelum ni takut dengan kucing besar tapi Mak ubah persepsi saya terhadap kucing. Mak tak pernah gigt atau cakar saya. Walau kuat mana pun dia struggle untuk lepaskan diri waktu saya bagi dia makan ubat dia takkan cakar atau gigit. Mak baik sangat.

Continuing from breakfast…
12.40pm – lunch time! He didn’t want any of the food so I had to quickly think of something different. What worked was Cindy’s Tender Chicken with wheatgrass powder, something he hadn’t eaten for a long time too.
This was followed by some Cubgrub Duck.
