Most domestic cats have 18 toes: five on both front paws and four on each hind paw. Polydactyl cats, however, are born with extra toes as a result of a genetic mutation. It's the terrapin nesting season now, and we have secured more than 70 eggs for incubation!
As part of our fund-raising efforts, we put up our river terrapins for a symbolic adoption. Each terrapin adoption costs RM35, and you will receive an official tax-deductible receipt and a Certificate of Adoption. You are also encouraged to name your adopted terrapin(s)! All funds raised through the Terrapin Adoption Programme will be used to carry out river terrapin conservation projects in the future.

A total of nine new puppies (2 litters) have been dumped over the last two nights at the rescue refuge of Bosnian hero Danka Kantar. She set up a stuffed raccoon and teddy bear to simulate a mother and is caring for each pup, day and night. With roughly 100 other animals to care for here, Danka is rather weary but her heart stay true to the little ones who need her now.
