Sometimes it's the smallest gestures of kindness that mean the most. Today, we introduce you to three of our animal rescue colleagues who would be so grateful for the smallest amount of help. Each is doing incredible work despite very lean resources. There is a short description next to each photo to introduce you to these life savers who need our assistance.

This funny looking girl, C178 or Derpina is one of our veteran cats in the shelter. This shy girl may be a little distant when you first meet her, but once you start giving her a good pet she'll immediately warm up to you and start begging for more love (exactly like the last photo)! This gentle 3 years old is perfect for those who prefer a chill cat that's not too hyperactive but still a love bug! 😻

As summer temperatures soar in TURKEY, our street team is absolutely exhausted. They are out daily providing meals to more than 500 street cats! It takes 8 - 10 hours each day to make the 17 mile route. To the extent of our funding, we also sterilize and adopt the cats abroad.

This is Cinnamon Bun. She was recently dumped at our shelter. She was very frightened at first and didn't have appetite to eat. She is now under quarantine, carefully monitored by our vets and officers. We hope that she'll feel better soon.
Dumping is not the main solution. The next time you find a stray animal or wish to disown it, please consider REHOMING them via www.petfinder.my.
Surrendering animals to SPCA should be the LAST RESORT when you have exhausted all your options.

Today was Zurik’s check-up.
There is good news and not-so-good news.
The good news is that Zurik’s blood PCV has gone up to 30% from the previous 23% last week! And, there is no more jaundice too though Zurik’s gums still appear to be a little pale. This means that decrease in the PCV, and jaundice and fever two weeks ago was most likely due to a flea parasite infection which the Doxycycline has taken care of.
