Akibat kerakusan dan kebodohan manusia. Kini serata dunia mengalami pembakaran hutan. Aktiviti pembalakan dan pembersihan kawasan pertanian tidak terkawal menyebabkan hutan terbakar di beberapa negara.
Kebakaran hutan bukan sekadar kebakaran. Selain kesannya terhadap pengudaraan untuk manusia. Terdapat kemusnahan jiwa didalamnya berlaku. Haiwan liar yang berhabitat di hutan mati. Kemana haiwan-haiwan boleh pergi menyelamatkan diri melainkan menyerah nyawa rentung dalam keadaan ngeri.

“I really need your help with this stray dog near my work. I saw him being tied to Paws last week. Someone just dumped him there without paying the fee so Paws just let him stray around... He's very thin and of course sad. All I can do for him now is to feed him as often as possible. But I think it's best if someone can foster him for a while. Also he's still in tact so it'll be great to neuter him too.â€

Belawai is habitat to Irrawaddy dolphins, hence it is important to keep rubbish at bay.
On July 29, the Pandas from Sarawak Conservation Programme teamed up with 60 people to pick up rubbish that are washed ashore along Belawai beach, and littered by public and visitors.
