DOG WITH MASSIVE NECK TUMOUR RECOVERS [Graphic]
This community dog was trapped under our TNRM programme and brought to SPCA for sterilisation, where our clinic team further discovered a huge neck tumour.
During surgery, our veterinarian realised the mass extended beyond the initial skin margins. Surgery was performed with care and precision to ensure the entire mass was removed to reduce the chances of cancerous cells being left behind, and to control blood loss.

Thanks for the rice donation with cash collected in total RM 3110 from this group of people. With their donation, it temporarily helps to relieve our worry for 130 days food to pups, senior and unwell dogs. We received a call asking for blood donation for 8-year-old Ninja who is to undergo a surgery to remove a tumour from his spleen. We dispatched our lifesavers Elizabeth and Polka to Gasing.
Elizabeth's blood was a match and she donated for Ninja's surgery. Our blood donor dogs somehow know that they are saving lives and donate without any fear.
Just look at the smile on Elizabeth's face while blood is being drawn from her.

“We started the community empowerment programme in Kampung Pasir Gajah last year with lotion-making classes. Then we initiated Group Menjahit, because not all the women wanted to make lotion, and commissioned them to sew our batik-themed merchandise.
We developed the products with them, including bags, bandanas and straw pouches. Three women formed the project’s nucleus, but the group grew and we now have 10.”

Ginger To The Vet’s Again

Ginger recovered, then started coughing again. I quickly got him the anti-histamines and broncodilator, and the cough stopped, but he started sneezing again yesterday so it’s off to the vet’s again today.
The vet explained that being FIV+, it appears to be harder for Ginger to overcome the flu virus. Also, the flu virus does linger in the system for a certain period of time even after recovery. Since Ginger is FIV+, he started exhibiting symptoms again.
