Rescued Male Tiger In Belum-Temengor

In 2009, WWF-Malaysia’s Wildlife Protection Unit (WPU), which conducts regular patrols together with PERHILITAN in Belum-Temengor, stumbled upon a five-year old male tiger with its badly injured paw caught in a snare. The tiger was rescued and taken to the Malacca Zoo for treatment, but a week later it died of its wounds.

This is regarding requests to rescue dogs. We are not able to do anything because of the restricted movement order. We can't go anywhere and so there is virtually nothing we can do. There are also roadblocks in some areas. The police are also patrolling neighbourhoods and making people who are outside go home.
