Who Is Eating The Fabric? 2nd May 2020, by AnimalCare
Have you heard of fabric-eating cats?
I have two friends whose cats EAT fabric.
Either Minnie or Smurfy is eating fabric as well. I suspect it is Minnie as I saw her doing it. There are now holes in the cloth coverings. Or, maybe it’s just a sign of protest on her part?

The Rules In Bunny’s Place 2nd May 2020, by AnimalCare
There is one interesting rule in Bunny’s Place. For afternoon naps or any daytime naps, one cat must stay awake to keep watch. So, you cannot have everyone sleeping at the same time during the day.
For night time, it is okay for everyone to sleep at the same time.
Wait…where is Cleo?
Here she is…
I told Cow he can sleep. I’ll keep watch.
This is taken right now, tonight. Cleo is on sentry duty.
Wow…even the Queen works?

Cleo’s Fashion Statement 2nd May 2020, by AnimalCare
It’s been three weeks since we started Cleo on the Dermoscent Essential 6 spot-on. It is supposed to help with the balding of her bottom half.
This condition has been there for more than 10 years now. Cleo bites off the hair on her bottom half. It’s either some kind of allergy or just an obsessive compulsive disorder on her part. I’m inclined to hypothesise that it is the latter.
I don’t think the Essential 6 is helping, though.
Why do you bite off your hair, Cleo?

Happy labour day weekend to all!
A kinder world for animals only starts with us looking out for one another. During this CB period, SPCA is assisting those who are unable to get pet supplies online, due to the closure of pet shops. We’ve also contacted social service groups to help elderly clients who aren’t digitally savvy.
However, we need more ears and eyes on the ground. Please help us by looking out for those around you and email us at e...

Grow A Garden! 2nd May 2020, by AnimalCare
Growing a garden in the community – Something we can all think about doing.

But, actually, I did manage to grow a green vegetable (for making soup), mint (yes, I really did) and Tabs’ serai is thriving whereas Bunny’s is not (but that’s not my fault, ‘coz the Cow Clan sprays on them)!
Watch this video and BE inspired!
