How Is Gerald Doing Indoors?

First thing we did was to get the Monsters back to the catio. Last night, Rey must have accidentally stepped on the door handle of Stargate and opened the gate unintentionally (or was it intentional?). This morning, I found the entire Monster clan over in Bunny’s Place. But it was raining so heavily, so I let them be as long as there were no war cries.
After the rain subsided a little, we got them back. Then, a fight broke up, amongst themselves. Monster vs Monster. No casualties.

I miss Misty so much.
In the last few months, Misty’s daily routine was set. If I didn’t know if she was already in the porch, she would jump up onto the window sill and call me from there. And if she’s not back yet, and I go out to the porch with her food, she would mew from afar in response to me calling her name. She knew her name. And she would come running back from the rooftops, jump down the garbage compartment and come running to me.

Orientating Gerald To Stay Indoors Again

I was still in shock all afternoon.
Gerald came back in the late afternoon and started mewing in the porch. It was his dinner time and I fed him. Luckily he ate.
As I’ve observed, it was always Misty who needed him and not vice-versa, but I am very sure he would miss Misty’s friendship.
Gerald loves this cat tree.
He ate his dinner alone. Probably for the first time, without Misty. I’m still grateful that at least he ate. I do not want him to suffer grief too.

A car accident.
Misty was knocked down by a car from the kindergarten this morning. In my morning walk, I saw Gerald and her at the park, then inside the neighbour’s porch. The next thing I knew before completing my third round was a phonecall from my husband saying Misty had been knocked down.

SIR MUTLEY HAS ALSO VEEN ADMITTED AND A RM1,000 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED. BOTH ARE IN GASING.
