Dear all,
We are in urgent need of volunteers to force feed our Happy. She is weak as she is not taking in much food and has to be force fed. It would be ideal if she is fed a little food at least 3 to 4 times daily. We need a few people - so that one person could do one feeding daily. We will show you how to do it. If you've just dumped this newborn kitten out in our parking lot today, we've only found one, were not sure how many were there or how long were they outside. There was no rain since 9am but since the plastic bag is wet, the kitten could've been sitting in the bag for over 5hrs now.
Our cattery is now full with 3 litters that were just dumped in the span of a week as well, so if you're able to foster really young kittens please call our office at 03 4256 5312. We have no more space for incoming...

Two Days Ago, We Meet Two Research Teams, Who Came..

Two days ago, we meet two research teams, who came all the way down from UMT, at our Conservation Centre. They heard about our sick terrapins and offered to help. So, they’ve collected samples to run further analysis.

They are helping us identify the specific bacteria that’s causing eye infection and testing out the best treatment.

We are extremely grateful to Dr. @dahlia_sidique and Prof. Effendy’s research team for their helping hand!

Pakcik Zainal Abidin and Kak Azelin are both supporters of the Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals (ISPCA) TNRM programme.
They are neighbours staying at Taman Botani and helped to feed three stray dogs that had been neutered by volunteers in the area. Named Three Musketeers, the dogs were caught by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) enforcement team recently following complaints by residents of the area about stray problems.

Happy's cheerleaders went to Gasing yesterday to give her moral support. Happy was running a slight temp and was also shivering a little. Apparently the shivering is due to toxins in her system. We are not going to give up on Happy and we hope Happy wont give up on herself.

Adoi Amber's Red Blood Cell Count Dropped To 16 In..

ADOI! Amber's red blood cell count dropped to 16% in a week because:
1. She is having tick fever called anaplasma but the red cells were not supposed to drop this drastically in 1 week with this tick fever.
2. Together with this tick fever, she is having bone marrow suppression (side effects of the chemo jab). That's what made her red blood count dropped drastically. Her white blood cells dropped too.
3.We may need to take 2 blood donors to St. Angel tomorrow at 11am for cross testing with Am...
