Update 3 Oct 2020. Rip Alpha, Fierce Oren Warrior .. 2nd Oct 2020, by TNRM Malaysia
Today, a person who feeds community cats at KL Sentral with one of our members, found a very sick and barely responsive cat.
The cat is Alpha. He is an orange tabby. He is fierce and has not trusted his feeders despite their attempts since the last 4 years. We helped to trap and neuter the surrounding cats but we could never trap Alpha. The first photo is Alpha, a few weeks ago.
The feeder reached out for help. From her descriptions, we knew Alpha needed to be taken to a vet as soon as possi...

Dog Abused During Training Session (Sign Spca's Pledge Against Cruelty) 2nd Oct 2020, by SPCA Singapore
CHOKING, HANGING AND STRANGLING OF ANIMALS: THIS NEEDS TO END
For several decades, SPCA has seen cases reporting the use of forceful and punishment-based animal training methods in Singapore, predominantly in dog training.
In a shocking 2017 case, a trainer used a pet dog’s leash to choke and hang the animal. He then strangled the animal’s neck with his hands till its eyes turned bloodshot, tongue blue, and it spluttered blood. Rachael, featured in the video, recounts what the trainer did...

Meet Ninja. She Truly Is A Survivor. Back In 2013,.. 2nd Oct 2020, by Second Chance
Meet Ninja!!!
She truly is a survivor!
Back in 2013, at our former shelter in old Klang road, a garbage bag was flung in... to our horror, inside was a scrawny hairless puppy.
We named her as Ninja.
From hairless to hairy; scrawny to nicely rounded; Ninja has been here for 7 years and we are still hopeful that a kind soul out there will fall in love with her and be her forever family.
Will you?

P/s The beauty of an adult dog is that one is more calm and less demanding; much easier to care for. Have a schedule, daily walks, nutritious food, and spend some time daily just to manja the dog; and all will be well.

The most important thing you can do for your dog is to learn something of his psychology. An understanding of dog psychology can help you to live happily and harmoniously with your dog. A little understanding will go a long way.
Dogs communicate with each other by using body language; facial expressions, body postures, noises and scents. Dogs use their mouth, eyes, ears and tail to express emotions. This is why they make such good pets as they are able to communicate with humans.

They Say When It Rains, It Pours. Apparently, Moch.. 2nd Oct 2020, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
They say when it rains, it pours. Apparently, Mocha's problem is more than a raptured drum.
There is a mass growing in Mocha's ear and the vet could not insert the scope pass through the mass as it is blocking the ear canal
The vet suggested CT Scan for Mocha to determine how big is the growth of the mass which will be scheduled next week.
If the mass growth is just at the beginning of the ear canal, the vet can do the surgery by removing the small part of the ear canal together with the mass.
