Since 2017, 11 000 gaharu or agarwood saplings have been planted on degraded land near Rumah Manggat, Batang Ai, Sarawak. WWF-Malaysia worked with Forest Department Sarawak (FDS) and Rumah Manggat community to restore their degraded land in the area which forms part of a larger landscape called Ulu Sungai Menyang. Seekor kucing jalanan parah disyaki terkena tembakan pistol angin. Dua das tembakan mengenai tubuh kucing berdasarkan dua kesan lubang bekas peluru yang hinggap pada badan kucing. Kucing ini dikejarkan ke sebuah klinik veterinar berhampiran oleh saksi yang melihat kejadian.

Meera says “THaNK YOU!” And “I LoVe YOU!”
She has had a successful second surgery to remove her ear canal tumour. Currently, she’s receiving tender loving care at home, with our volunteer. She is quite a challenge to feed, as she can detect her medication and spits it out! 🙃🤪 Nonetheless, the best possible care shall be given to her.
Currently, her medical bills amount to RM4,237.

Kekurangan dana dan perlu perbelanjaan RM1,000,000.00 sebulan untuk biaya kos operasi. Animal Malaysia mohon masyarakat Malaysia amalkan pemberian tetap sumbangan RM10.00 sebulan setiap orang untuk bantu Zoo Negara.
