"I can't imagine these eyes as fresh veal. How are you not sorry?" young Bosnian animal activist Elma Ε ΔetiΔ said after rescuing yet another calf last week.
Harmony Fund has been helping Elma with calf rescues recently and many grateful dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, an adult cow and a donkey live at her small sanctuary now. The calves walk on leashes in unfenced areas for their own safety and it's apparent how much they LOVE their rescuer.
