Installing Camera-Traps In The Heart Of Borneo

As the monsoon season sets in, torrential rains and rough rivers did not deter the Sarawak’s wildlife conservation team from going to Ulu Baleh, deep in the Heart of Borneo, to set up camera-traps in October. Thanks to the experienced boatmen and village guides, the team managed to go against all odds and install 21 camera traps.

Our most senior dogggo Kobe - who is believed to be about 17 - had a close shave. He had a tumour growing in his tail and surgery was arranged. Since he is very old, an EKG was done and it found that Kobe had a strong and healthy heart. Do he was given GA but they could not intubate him to insert the tube that would help him breathe during the procedure. So the surgery was called off.
