Good Morning, Good Boy Gerald!

We managed to sleep until 6.45am this morning!
I had expected yowling in the middle of the night but there was none. Not even this morning. Hence, we only woke up at 6.45am.
I came downstairs and there was still no sound at all until I opened the front door. That’s when Gerald came bounding (almost bouncing!) towards the front door.
That’s when the nonstop mewing started! Gerald was hungry!

Gerald’s Freedom

After dinner yesterday evening, I brought Gerald back to Bunny’s Place to see if he appreciates being indoors, after hours of “freedom” outdoors.
He’s as manja as ever.
Samantha and the girls were happy to reunite with him.
But Gerald started yowling in no time, so I let him out again.

At about 5pm, we heard the familiar mewing in the porch.
Gerald is back!!
That’s a dinner of canned food with his favourite raw chicken gizzards. He sapu habis and went off gallivanting again.

Happy Gerald Is Free Again!

We decided to release Gerald this afternoon. He had just got up from a nap and was yowling till no end. We have done our best for 35 days, but he just wasn’t happy being confined. He’s a roamer at heart.
The moment I put him in the porch, he ran towards the gate. I could see how happy he was, so it’s the right decision.
But he didn’t straight away go out, though. He made a detour to the garden first, then only he headed out towards the gate.
