*Handling of turtle hatchlings is not encouraged, as it may cause stress or harm. In cases where handling is required, our conservation officers strictly follow protocols and wear gloves to ensure the hatchlings' safety.

When Ridcha found herself caught in a brutal snare trap meant for wild animals she fought to free herself, but it was no use. The wire remained tightly wrapped around her leg. Her only escape was to chew the lower part of her leg off. 💔‼️
Alone, injured and scared in the jungle, Ridcha’s life hung in the balance. Her resilience kept her alive, but she couldn’t survive alone. Miraculously, we found her in time.

Lilian From Cheras Contacted Us For Help To Catch ..

Lilian from Cheras contacted us for help to catch three dogs for neutering. We went over on Thursday morning and we managed to catch two , a male and a female , the third one,a male dog, only turned up after the catch. So we will go back for him in another trip.

Kindly be informed that in addition to the Wednesday (11th December 2024) closure for the Sultan of Selangor’s birthday, the shelter will also be closed on Thursday (12th December 2024) as replacement for the shelter staff.
