Gerald Insisted On Going Out (but Only To The Park)

Gerald was yowling till no end this morning. I was afraid that after being confined for 4 days, he’d had enough and wanted to be free again.
Even sitting with him in the room did not help. He kept yowling. So I had to take him out. I didn’t have time to take him out yesterday because we had some construction work going on in the porch.
Here we are. But I know, no cat likes being harnessed. So I gave him some freedom once we were in the middle of the park.

A Very Kind Malaysian Bus Driver

My son, Jia-Wen, was coming home by bus early this morning and he noticed something very heart-warming.
The bus driver, a Malay man, stopped the bus, got down and went an open grassy area. Then, a pack of happy dogs came running to him. He fed the dogs and then, got back into the bus to continue the journey.
What a very, very kind man. May he be blessed manifold for his compassion.
We definitely need more Malaysians like him.

just now someone persistently wanted us to take 30 dogs that she was feeding. We cannot take in anymore dogs because we are financially strapped and do not have the capacity. 30 more dogs will just kill us. There are many rescuers who have succumbed after not being able to cope. Some neglect their own health because all the money they have goes towards the upkeep of the dogs. There are always new dog caregivers who would like to know to avoid accidentally getting pregnant dogs spayed.
I asked JoTong, one of our applicants who have done so many dog neutering, for tips. JoTong is also our TagTeam member.

On heat yes. Can see from their engorged vagina. Blood droplets from their vagina. Males seems to like to follow the female around. This is when we know we need to catch those females. Those [visibly] pregnant female, we will not catch them....

As usual, the moment I woke up and sat in bed to drink my water from my tumbler, Gerald immediately started calling from downstairs in Bunny’s Place. I don’t know how he knows, but he knows. I did not even make a noise; Tabs who was asleep beside my pillow did not even wake up. And yet, Gerald knew.
