Ten months ago, Nuengdiaw was a two-month-old puppy in terrible pain 😢
His poor little paw had been horribly injured, leading to the loss of his toes and the wound was quickly becoming necrotic.
Thankfully, our emergency rescue team was called and, thanks to support from people like you, he received the treatment and care he desperately needed.
Today Nuengdiaw is a resident here at the Gill Dalley Sanctuary and a very happy little boy. He’s working on building his confidence as he ven...

Updates On Grey (from Lee Soo Farng) 19th Apr 2024, by AnimalCare
Grey went for his check-up on Wednesday, which is after 10 days of medication.
From Soo Farng:
Today’s follow up visit with the senior vet. My first time meeting him. Very gentle, soft spoke and knowledgeable. He explained Grey’s condition very clearly with X-ray and drawings. Giving Grey 3 months on Methycobal 500mg. (Prescribed 1 month for next visit). He taught me how to gently squeeze his bladder to induce urine so he won’t pee everywhere. He wrote a prescription for me ge...

How Is Tabs Coping? 19th Apr 2024, by AnimalCare
Tabs didn’t seem affected by the incident. Maybe she didn’t know about it at all.
But I must say that her appetite and demeanour have improved after we changed the subcut fluids to 150ml daily.
The only changes we did are: (1) daily Gabapentin, (2) Renal-Combi twice a day instead of once and (3) Subcut fluids increase to 150ml instead of 200ml three times a week.
Again, I cannot be sure which worked. Maybe all of them?
I also try to give her the AIM supplement daily. But this will r...

How Are The Monsters Coping? 19th Apr 2024, by AnimalCare
The Monsters were clearly quite significantly affected after we trimmed and thinned out the foliage in the Catio.
But I think they are slowly adjusting to the “new environment” now.
Rey
Minnie
Ginger
Lynx
Smurfy – he has gone very cranky.
Robin – also a bit cranky.
Today, they are eating well again.
For the last few days since the incident, they weren’t.
The plants will grow back, everyone. But we will have to keep them from getting too lush.
We are getting...
