Yesterday was a busy day for the team despite it being our weekend 💪🏻
Right after sembahyang Jumaat, our Terrapin Guardians split into two smaller teams and spent many hours on two nesting banks to prepare for the upcoming nesting season.
We cleared some bushes to make way for a campsite, erected our camps, and ensured that the team would be shielded completely from nesting female terrapins during the night.

Do you remember Karhus? A 40-kilogram Alaskan Malamute, he certainly stood out among our sanctuary of street dogs. 🐺
Karhus came into our care in 2016 after a tourist found him chained up having been abandoned. He arrived dishevelled and skinny, though fortunately in good spirits.

MDDB UPDATES
@Wani Muthiah update on Max from UPM:
1. Max tumor seems to grow bigger after the chemotherapy. The vet has tried different chemo drugs but Max is not showing any improvement.
2. The vet said the chemotherapy is not helping Max and that they have to stop the chemotherapy treatment for Max.
3. The vets at UPM will not be proceeding with the chemo treatment and they have suggested to give palliative care.for Max.
