The recent surge in cases of cats falling from heights at the SPCA is dire. Since the start of 2023, we are seeing an average of 8 cases of cats falling from heights each week, totaling nearly 30 cats since the start of the year.
This is a 60% increase compared to last year. These are just the cases that SPCA sees and the true number of cases could be much higher.

As many of us know, fireworks can be extremely frightening for dogs. Let alone when you’re blind, elderly and living on the streets. 😔 Thankfully, there was a kind and considerate local who was rather concerned about Moral and how she would cope with the New Year’s Eve celebrations.

We are in a big fix as we are still unable to come up with the funds to pay our monthly commitments such as half-way-home rental, wages and utilities. To make matters we need to pay several clinics the shortfalls in the amount raised to pay towards some rescues.
